With over 5,000 square feet of flexible space between two floors, we can accommodate a variety of expo and meeting types, cocktail receptions, presentations, parties and seated meals. The building can host 110 seated people on main floor, 50 in the open balcony, 40 on the brick patio and up to 200 reception style utilizing the full space.  Covid ordinances may require adjustments to these numbers. Rental prices vary depending on the day of week - you rent the space and then choose the caterer of your choice or select from our inhouse menu


LOCAL CATERERS: We have partnered with local caterers as well as our inhouse partners to bring you the best options in Spartanburg, see our menu for the most popular selections, or  you can choose the licensed caterer of your choice to provide the food and servers.   

PREMIERE CATERING: Our premiere inhouse catering program is anchored by Chef Toby Blakley, born and raised in Texas and classically trained in French Cuisine. He loves to meld those two culinary worlds and create unique dishes that will delight your palate and dining experience. We have created a few menus to get you started but Chef's greatest joy is to create custom menus designed around your preferences. 

ALCOHOL - C & S Events and Catering, LLC is a licensed alcohol provider including beer, wine and liquor. All alcoholic beverages must be provided through C & S Events and Catering. No outside alcoholic beverages are permitted. 


Free nights and weekend parking at Magnolia Street Parking Garage and curbside spaces adjacent to the building. Valet service is an option to include for the convenience of your guests.


Conveniently located at the corner of Morgan Square in downtown Spartanburg, the Citizens and Southern Event Center is adjacent to parks, restaurants, breweries, public art, coffee shops, retail and two hotels.  The AC Hotel is easily walkable and just two blocks away and the Spartanburg Marriott and Conference Center is approximately five blocks. Nearby retail includes Starbucks, Bond Street Wine, Hub City Book Shop, Health in Hand Smoothies, Pink On Main, Market on Main, James & James Men's clothing and the Upstate Children's Museum.
